Food safety for non-caterers

Summary: It is recognised that food safety outside the control of the catering department can be a weak spot. This session will focus on food safety at ward/service level, and include common scenarios and solutions.

Outcome: Learners will gain awareness and learning that they can take away to make enhancements in their role and organisation.

Suitable for: Those with management or supervisory roles in hospitals and care homes at ward level. Includes nursing, housekeeping, dietitians, domestics, facilities/hotel services, catering and  food safety responsible personnel.
