Listeriosis & reducing the risk

Summary: Listeriosis has a 30% fatality rate for vulnerable groups. This session will provide a sound overview of Listeria monocytogenes, Listeriosis and how to reduce the risk in a healthcare setting. The session incorporates the Food Standards Agencies guidance as well as ‘real life’ case studies.

Suitable for:  Those with management or supervisory roles with food safety in hospitals and care homes. Includes catering, nursing, housekeeping, dietitians, domestic, facilities/hotel services, catering and food safety responsible persons/board members.
