Nominated food safety specialist

Summary: This session is designed for those with overall responsibility for food safety within their healthcare organisation. This session will  cover considerations, provide suggestions and inspiration to fulfil this role effectively.  A key recommendation from the NHS England National Standards and NHS Food Review is for Trusts to have a nominated food safety specialist.  This session is suitable for those in this and similar roles, within healthcare settings.    

Outcome: Learners will expand their awareness and insight, enabling them to deepen their effectiveness in their role to safeguard organisational food safety.

Suitable for:  Managers or board members who oversee food safety across their healthcare organisation. This includes food safety specialists, competent, authorised or responsible persons and/or named board members.
